Getting Back to Zurich

For all the years I lived in Switzerland, I decided to live close to work in Baden.  That was definitely a trade-off as all the action was in Zurich, a 15 minute train ride away.  Baden was definitely a sleepy little town in comparison.

As I was working in Germany over the summer, I couldn’t resist a trip back to Zurich and Baden to catch up with old friends there.  While there, I realized just how few photos of Zurich I’d taken over the years, so I spent half a day walking around snapping photos of the lake, river and Altstadt.  I’ve added a few of them here.

It also was great to catch up with the rugby club crowd in our favourite haunt, the Oliver Twist Pub.
