A Rat Temple?!?

I traveled to Bikaner en route to Delhi for one very quirky reason – a "Rat Temple".  I’d heard about it from a few backpackers back in Delhi and it sounded worth the stopover.

The temple was like something out of an Indiana Jones film!  Rats, rats, everywhere!  They skuttled across the floors and covered every surface available.  I found out that the rats are revered by the worshippers as they believe that the rats are reincarnated human spirits.
